What this covers

yaomi tailors your resume and cover letter to a job posting. To do that it handles personal information you provide. This policy explains what we collect, how it is stored and protected, how it is processed by the AI model that generates your documents, and the controls you have over it.

We never sell your data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data — your resume, your documents, your contact details, or your email address — to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it for any purpose other than running yaomi for you. Your data is used only to provide the service you signed up for. Our marketing site measures whether an ad led to a signup, which reports that one happened and never who — see Advertising and measurement.

What we collect

Reviews you send us

The account menu has a "Send a review" form. It's entirely optional, nothing prompts you to use it, and not using it changes nothing about your account.

If you do send one, we store your rating, your words, the credit name you typed, and the email address you signed in with. We only publish it if you tick the box saying we may. Leave it unticked and it stays internal feedback that we read and act on but never quote. Ticking it means the words and the credit name may appear on our website — not your email address, which we never publish.

You can change or withdraw a review at any time: submitting again replaces what you said, and emailing info@tiandata.com removes it. If we've already published a quote, tell us and we'll take it down.

Before you have an account

The marketing site (tryyaomi.com) asks for your email address before you sign in, so you can start the free trial. When you submit it we store the address, which page it came from, and the date and time — nothing else. No account exists at that point, so this record isn't attached to one.

We use it for two things: giving you access, and following up with you about yaomi. We don't sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else. To have it removed, email info@tiandata.com and we'll delete the record — you don't need an account to ask.

If you go on to sign in, everything else in this policy applies to your account's data as well.

Advertising and measurement

The marketing site runs Google Ads conversion tracking so we can tell which ads actually bring people to yaomi. When you submit your email there, a conversion event is sent to Google. It does not include your email address, or anything else you typed — only the fact that a signup happened. Google sets its own cookies to do this, and its handling of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy.

The app itself (yaomi.app) carries no advertising or analytics tags at all. The only third party your resume or conversation is ever sent to is Anthropic, as described below.

How your data is stored and protected

How your data is processed by the AI model

To generate your documents, yaomi sends your conversation (which may include your resume and contact details) to Anthropic's Claude model through the Claude API, governed by Anthropic's Commercial Terms — not the consumer Claude product. The following come directly from Anthropic's published policies:

Your data is not used to train AI models. Anthropic's Privacy Center states:

"By default, we will not use your inputs or outputs from our commercial products to train our models."

and Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service state:

"Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from Services."

Your data is not exposed publicly or to other customers. It is processed only to generate your response. Anthropic deletes it on a limited schedule:

"we automatically delete inputs and outputs on our backend within 30 days of receipt or generation"

Anthropic retains data longer only where content is flagged for a policy violation (inputs and outputs for up to 2 years, and trust & safety classification scores for up to 7 years) or where required by law.
